UEFA Champions League Final 2014

Yesterday, the UEFA Champions League was held at the stadium of da Luz in Lisboa (Portugal). The finalists were the Atlético de Madrid and the Real Madrid. The match was very amasung in the end. However, the firsts minutes were boring because the two teams were afraid to make a mistake. The Real Madrid won the final 4-1 but the Atlético de Madrid played a really good match. I prefer that the final was won by the Atlético de Madrid because I'm a big fan of FCBarcelona.

Castel Sant'Angelo

The Castel Sant'Angelo is a roman monument which is next to the Tiber and has in front the Ponte Sant'Angelo. It's near to the Vatican City too. It was built in 139 and was commissioned by the Roman Emperor Adriano as a mausoleum for himself and his family. Nowadays, it's a museum which I visited when I went with my classmates to visit Rome.

A memorable journey

The journey seems like another but it wasn’t. While we were waiting for the slowest person that I know, Vi, Jack told us a joke. When Vi arrived, at 6 o’clock, we left Nottingham. We were really excited to visit Newcastle upon Tyne. However, the bus stopped. The driver got up to see what was happening. It was the motor, it was broken, and on the top of that anyone has cover. So we were arguing 15 minutes what we could do. Finally, we decided to walk to the next town and asked for help. We didn’t now that the next town was Leeds. It was a 62, 14 miles from where we were. When we arrived, the next day, our family was waiting us. The people who were waiting in the bus saw a car and it stopped, so they could ask for help. They told it our parents.

U2

U2 is an Irish band rock band from Dublin. It was formed in 1976. The group consists of Bono (vocalist and guitarist), The Edge (guitarist, keyboarder and vocalist), Adam Clayton (bass guitarist) and Larren Muller Jr. (drummer and percussioner). The U2's sound had got his origin in post-punk but now has got a sound more popular. However, all the songs are great. My favourites are Vertigo, One and Invisible, their new song.

Now I'm going to talk about Paul David Hewson (Bono). He was born the 10th of May 1960. He is known for being the vocalist of U2. He is also known for combating the poverty in Africa. He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005 and 2006 but he didn't won it. He is one of my favourites singers.

Now, I leave their new song Invisible:

What would you do if you won 2,000,000$?

If I won 2,000,000$, it would be a dream come true. First of all, I'd go around the world with my family. It would be amazing.
Next, I'd buy some gadgets like the best mobile phone, the best laptop and so on. I love playing tennis, so I'd buy a new racket too.
I wouldn't spend all the money on myself. I'd spend a part of it all my family and friends. They would buy all they wanted. Finally, I'd give some money to the charity and NGOS. Also, I'd keep the part of the money in the bank.
I think that the money wouldn't change me becuase I have a strong personality.

A report

Report on suggestion for a collage self-study centre

Introduction
The aim of this report is to outline the advantages of investing money in a self-study centre. I interviewed a number of students and professors to find out their views on a study centre at their college.

Reporting results
Most people seem to feel that it’s a good idea because they use it a lot and it is very useful. According to them, it’s one of the most used places.
However, other students said that they do not use this place because they do not like to learn on their own.

Reasons for a study-centre
Most of the students and professors gave the following points:
  1. Many students want to learn on your own and do not want any help.
  2. They do not need anyone to learn and they can learn when they want
  3. They have a lot books available

Recommendations
I would therefore recommend investing money in creating a self-study centre because is very useful for almost all students.

Love Actually (Review)

Here I leave you the review of Love Actually, a film that I saw in Christmas at my school.

Love actually is a star-studded, British romantic comedy which was made in 2003.In the film acted a lot of famous actors like Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Keira Knightley and so on.

The film consists of eight very different love stories that begin five weeks before Christmas in London. The opening scene is very funny because appears Billy Mack (Bill Nighy) singing “Love Is All Around”.

In my opinion is a good film which makes you laugh but also there are intrigue. The best story is Daniel, Sam his stepson, Joanna the girl that Sam loves and Karol the girl that Daniel loves. However, the best scene is when in the wedding an orchestra started to play “All you need is love” of the Beatles.

I recommend to see this film if you want to pass a good time because it’s very dynamic to see and makes you laugh. It’s a film for all ages because there aren’t swearwords.
